More from the Fall U.P. Trip. An intimate landscape of the wet boulders in the rapids. There were several boulders that were silver in color - maybe Mica? Quite beautiful, with lovely color variations throughout.
A beautiful, wide waterfall, Bond Falls has a boardwalk surrounding this pool of water at the base of the Falls, allowing easy access for viewing.. You can also get off the boardwalk at a few spots for a closer view, as well as climb the trails on either side of the fall to get a view from the top.
We were quite lucky with our timing, regarding the Fall Color in the Upper Peninsula. As afternoon light approached sunset, the colors of fall lit up the water of Presque Isle.
