The first full day of our Fall Color tour of the U.P. was spent exploring the Black River Scenic Byway waterfalls. This is the second falls in a series of five waterfalls that lead to the Black River Harbor on the shores of Lake Superior.
Another image of the upper falls at Bond Falls. This is from our first stop of the trip, Bond Falls. We made a slight detour to stop here on our way to Ironwood. We arrived late afternoon, and the color reflections were not as strong as they can be earlier in the day. Still, a side track well worth taking for such a beautiful waterfall.
Posting things out of order, but will actually start from our first day's shoot on my next upload and work through the week. This is one of the images from our 5th day of travel and photography, spent exploring the Fall color and waterfalls of the upper peninsula of Michigan and northern Wisconsin. This is from the Hiawatha National Forest. There was a misty drizzle going on for most this day, creating a haze that made things a bit challenging.
